Good news for Belarusian citizens planning to visit Vietnam – the Vietnamese National Assembly has approved the government’s proposal to amend and supplement several articles of the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam. From August 15, 2023, Vietnam will extend the validity of e-visas granted to foreigners entering the country to 90 days from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries.
Vietnam is currently granting e-visas to citizens from 80 countries and territories, including Belarus. This means that Belarusian citizens can now apply for an e-visa and enjoy a stay of up to 90 days in Vietnam from August 15, 2023. Additionally, Belarusian visitors hailing from countries and regions eligible for Vietnam’s unilateral visa waiver program will be able to enjoy a stay of 45 days visa-free in the country from August 15, 2023.
