The Vietnamese National Assembly has recently approved an amendment to the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam, allowing foreigners to enjoy an extended e-visa validity of 90 days, with effect from August 15, 2023. This amendment applies to citizens of 80 countries and territories, including Belarus.
Under the new regulations, Belarusian travelers can apply for a Vietnam e-visa for a single entry or multiple entries, with a maximum stay of 90 days. This extended visa validity period is expected to make it easier for Belarusians to visit and do business in Vietnam. Furthermore, Belarusian visitors are eligible for Vietnam’s unilateral visa waiver program and would be able to enjoy a stay of 45 days visa-free from August 15, 2023.
