The Vietnamese National Assembly has recently approved the government’s proposal to amend and supplement several articles of the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam. This amendment is expected to make it easier for foreign visitors to come to Vietnam to visit and do business.
Starting from August 15, 2023, citizens of Denmark with a valid e-visa will be able to enjoy a longer stay in Vietnam. This is because the Vietnamese government has extended the validity of e-visas granted to foreigners from 80 countries, including Denmark, from no more than 30 days to 90 days for single entry or multiple entries.
This news is welcomed by many Danish citizens who have been wanting to explore the beauty of Vietnam for a longer period of time. With the 90-day e-visa validity, Danish citizens can now enjoy their travels without having to worry about having their visas expire soon.
Moreover, Danish citizens hailing from countries and regions eligible for Vietnam’s unilateral visa waiver program will be able to enjoy a stay of 45 days visa-free in the country from August 15, 2023. This is an increase from the current limit of 15 days, making it easier for Danish citizens to visit and explore Vietnam.
Vietnam is a stunning country rich in culture and history. With the new updates to the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam, Danish citizens can now look forward to a longer stay in the country and explore all that it has to offer. So if you are a Danish citizen, make sure to apply for your Vietnam e-visa and start planning your trip to Vietnam today!
