Good news for Danish citizens who plan to visit Vietnam! The Vietnamese National Assembly recently approved the government’s proposal to amend and supplement several articles of the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam. Under the amendments, Vietnam would extend the validity of e-visas granted to citizens of Denmark from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries to 90 days from August 15, 2023.
Vietnam currently offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories, including Denmark. This amendment is expected to make it easier for foreign visitors, especially Danish citizens, to visit and do business in Vietnam. It will also promote tourism and help the country become a major destination for travelers.
Moreover, the amended law also includes provisions for foreign visitors from countries and regions eligible for Vietnam’s unilateral visa waiver program to enjoy a stay of 45 days visa-free, surpassing the current limit of 15 days. This means that Danish citizens can enjoy a stay of 45 days visa-free in the country from August 15, 2023.
Overall, the amendments to the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam will make it easier and more convenient for Danish citizens to visit Vietnam. The extended e-visa validity of 90 days from August 15, 2023, and the visa-free stay of 45 days will make it more convenient for Danish travelers to explore the country. Vietnam is also promoting various online and offline campaigns to attract more travelers, including Danish citizens, to visit the country.
So, if you are a Danish citizen planning to visit Vietnam, the new 90-day e-visa validity will make it easier for you to visit and explore the country from August 15, 2023. You can also enjoy a visa-free stay of 45 days. So, what are you waiting for? Start planning your trip to Vietnam today!
