Good news for Chinese citizens planning a trip to Vietnam! The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA), the legislative body responsible for creating laws, has granted approval for extending the validity of visitor e-visas for foreigners entering Vietnam from one month to three months. This means that from August 15, 2023, Chinese citizens will be able to apply for a Vietnam e-visa valid for up to 90 days.
Vietnam is currently granting e-visas to citizens from 80 countries, including China, and the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security issues single-entry e-visas to foreigners through its electronic system. With the amendment, the validity of e-visas granted to foreigners entering the country will be extended to 90 days from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries. This will make it easier for Chinese citizens to visit and do business in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese government has stated that the new law is meant to facilitate the entry of foreigners to Vietnam and promote tourism. The government is also hoping to attract more foreign investments and attract more international tourists, which will help to boost the country’s economy.
For Chinese citizens who are planning to visit Vietnam, they can apply for the e-visa online through the official Vietnam Immigration Department website. The application process is simple and straightforward, and the visa will be issued within a few minutes.
The Vietnamese government has also announced that the e-visa fee for Chinese citizens will remain unchanged. This means that Chinese citizens will still need to pay the same fee as before for the e-visa.
So, if you are a Chinese citizen planning to visit Vietnam, you can apply for the e-visa now and you will be able to enjoy up to 90 days of validity from August 15, 2023. This is a great opportunity to explore the beauty of Vietnam and experience the culture of this amazing country.
