Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Macedonia

According to the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic or Service/Official Passports. Signed on December 2, 2014, effective from October 14, 2016:

Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

Holders of valid diplomatic or service/official passports of the Parties shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from, and transit through the territory of the other Party.

The individuals mentioned above may enter or leave the territory of the other Party at all border checkpoints designated for international travel.

Article 2

The persons mentioned in Article 1 shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of three (03) months within any six (06) months period from the date of first entry.

Article 3

1. Holders of valid diplomatic or service/official passports of the one Party, who are accredited as members of the diplomatic mission, consular posts or representative missions to the international organizations located in the territory of the other Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party for the period of their assignments in accordance with the internal procedures of the other Party.

2. The visa exemption granted to persons referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Article shall also apply to their spouse and children provided that they are holders of valid diplomatic or service/official passports.

This provision shall not apply to support staff in the household.
