Vietnam is taking another step forward to attract international tourists, investments and businesses to the country. On June 24, 2023, the Vietnamese National Assembly approved the Government’s proposal to increase the validity of e-visas to 90 days from the current 30 days for single entry or multiple entries. This new regulation is scheduled to become effective on August 15, 2023.
Vietnam currently offers 30-day single-entry e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories. This includes citizens of Croatia, who will now be eligible to obtain a 90-day e-visa. With the extended validity, upon being granted an e-visa, a foreigner can enter and exit an unlimited number of times within 90 days without having to go through procedures for obtaining a new visa monthly.
This new regulation will make it easier for Croatian citizens to travel to Vietnam. It will also contribute to the development of the country’s tourism industry, foster foreign investments and create more business opportunities. The longer validity period will also give tourists more time to explore the country’s beautiful landscapes and cultural heritage.
