The Vietnamese National Assembly has recently passed an amendment to extend the validity of e-visas for foreign visitors from one month to three months. As a result, citizens of Slovenia will now be able to apply for a 90-day e-visa to Vietnam from August 15, 2023.
Currently, the Vietnam Immigration Department, under the Ministry of Public Security, offers single-entry 30-day e-visas to citizens of 80 selected countries and territories, including Slovenia. With the amendment, the validity period of the e-visa will be extended from 30 days to 90 days for both single entry and multiple entries.
The updated e-visa policy of Vietnam is expected to make it easier for foreign visitors, including Slovenian citizens, to visit and do business in the country. The extended validity period of 90 days for the e-visa will help foreign visitors plan their trips to Vietnam and stay longer in the country without having to apply for a visa extension.
The e-visa application process for Slovenian citizens is easy and straightforward. Applicants can submit their visa application online at the website of the Vietnam Immigration Department. After completing the online application form, applicants need to submit the necessary documents, such as a valid passport, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of travel. The visa application fee is also required to be paid online.
Once the application is approved, the Vietnam Immigration Department will send the approved e-visa to the applicant’s email address. The applicant can then use the e-visa to enter Vietnam and stay in the country for up to 90 days.
The new e-visa policy of Vietnam will make it easier for Slovenian citizens to travel and do business in the country in the near future. Vietnam is a beautiful and vibrant country, and with the extended e-visa validity, foreign visitors will be able to explore the country’s culture, history, and attractions more easily. Furthermore, the extended validity period of e-visas will also be beneficial for businesses looking to explore new opportunities in Vietnam.
So if you are a Slovenian citizen and you are planning to visit Vietnam in the near future, make sure to apply for an e-visa before your departure. With the extended validity period of 90 days, you will be able to enjoy your stay in Vietnam without having to worry about visa extensions or visa renewal.
