The Vietnamese National Assembly has recently approved a proposal to amend and supplement several articles of the Law of Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam. Under the amendments, Vietnam will extend the validity of e-visa granted to foreigners entering the country to 90 days from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries.
Starting August 15, 2023, Finns can benefit from the new 90-day e-visa validity, granting them more time to explore the beauty of Vietnam. This e-visa is open to citizens from 80 countries and territories, including Finland. Moreover, Finns hailing from countries and regions that Vietnam offers a unilateral visa waiver program can enjoy the 45-day visa-free stay in the country from August 15, 2023.
