Luxembourgish citizens now have some great news to look forward to. The National Assembly of Vietnam has recently approved a law that amends and supplements several articles in the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, and Residence in Vietnam. According to the revised law, the duration of an e-visa for Luxembourgish citizens will be extended from 30 days to 90 days, valid for multiple entries.
The new law is scheduled to become effective on August 15, 2023, offering Luxembourgish citizens a great opportunity to explore Vietnam and the surrounding countries in the region. The 90-day e-visa with multiple entries will come in handy for those who wish to survey markets or seek and promote investment in Vietnam. It will also be a great option for those who want to visit many countries in the region and return to Vietnam to evaluate and compare the business and investment potential.
Vietnam currently offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories, including Luxembourg. Luxembourgish citizens can apply for the e-visa online and can use it to enter Vietnam. The current e-visa is valid for a maximum of 30 days, with a single entry. However, with the new law coming into effect from August 15, 2023, Luxembourgish citizens will be able to stay in Vietnam for up to 90 days on a multiple entry basis.
The new law is a welcome step for Luxembourgish citizens, as it will make it easier for them to visit Vietnam and explore the many opportunities that the country has to offer. It will also help to boost tourism in the country, as well as help promote trade and investment between Vietnam and Luxembourg.
So if you are a citizen of Luxembourg, keep August 15, 2023 marked in your calendar and get ready to explore the beauty and culture of Vietnam with the new 90-day e-visa.
