The National Assembly of Vietnam has recently approved a law that amends and supplements several articles in the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, and Residence in Vietnam. This law brings with it a great opportunity for Hungarian citizens, as it allows them to benefit from a 90-day e-visa validity period, valid for multiple entries, from August 15, 2023.
Vietnam currently offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories, including Hungary. The extended period allows travelers to survey the market and seek and promote investment opportunities. In addition, the law aims to simplify the visa application process for Hungarian citizens. E-visa applications can be made online, and the process is fast and secure. The e-visa can be used for tourism, business, and other purposes. It is valid for a single entry, double entry, or multiple entries, depending on the type of visa applied for.
