Good news to Lithuanian citizens looking to visit Vietnam! Starting August 15, 2023, the Vietnamese government will grant you a 90-day e-visa, an update from the current 30-day single-entry e-visa.
On June 24, 2023, the Vietnamese National Assembly approved the Government’s proposal to increase the validity of e-visas from 30 days to 90 days for single entry or multiple entries. This new regulation will allow foreigners to enter and exit Vietnam an unlimited number of times within 90 days without having to go through procedures for obtaining a new visa every month. The law will become effective on August 15, 2023.
This development is expected to boost the nation’s tourism industry and create more business opportunities. With the easing of the e-visa policy, Vietnam can now attract more international tourists, investments, and business opportunities to the country.
Lithuanian citizens will be able to apply for the e-visa online via the Vietnam Immigration Department’s website. All you need to do is to fill out the application form and submit it with the required documents. After that, you will be granted the e-visa within three business days.
With the 90-day e-visa, Lithuanian citizens will have ample time to explore the wonders of Vietnam, from the bustling cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the stunning beaches of Nha Trang and the majestic mountains of Sapa. You can also take part in various activities such as cruising on the Mekong Delta, heading out on a street food tour, or touring the historical sites of the former imperial capital of Hue.
So, if you are planning to visit Vietnam, don’t forget to apply for the 90-day e-visa starting August 15, 2023! With this new e-visa, you can now enjoy your stay in Vietnam without having to worry about visa renewal.
