Irish Citizens Get a 90-Day E-Visa Boost in Vietnam from August 15, 2023!

Good news for Irish citizens as the Vietnamese National Assembly has granted approval to extend the validity of e-visas for foreigners entering Vietnam from one month to three months. This amended law, which will take effect on August 15, 2023, will make it easier for Irish citizens to visit and do business in Vietnam.

Currently, the Vietnam Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security issues single-entry, 30-day e-visas to foreigners through its electronic system to citizens from 80 countries and territories, including Ireland. From August 15, 2023, the e-visas granted to Irish citizens entering Vietnam will be valid for 90 days from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries.

The Vietnamese government has been making efforts to make their country more attractive to visitors and this move to extend the validity of e-visas to Irish citizens is another step in that direction. With the extended validity, Irish citizens can have more time to explore the country, experience the culture and take part in various activities.

Additionally, the extended validity of e-visas will be beneficial for Irish citizens who will be traveling to Vietnam for business purposes. It will give them more flexibility and opportunity to conduct business in the country as the extended validity will give them enough time to complete their business dealings.

Irish citizens looking to travel to Vietnam must apply for an e-visa before their trip. The application process is simple and straightforward and can be completed online. Irish citizens must provide the necessary documents such as a valid passport, and other supporting documents as required by the Vietnamese government.

The Vietnamese government has taken a step in the right direction by extending the validity of e-visas to Irish citizens. This move will be beneficial for both Irish citizens and the Vietnamese government as it will boost tourism and also create new business opportunities for both parties.

So, if you are an Irish citizen looking to visit Vietnam, you will now be able to stay for up to 90 days from August 15, 2023 with an e-visa. So, go ahead and start planning your trip to Vietnam and make the most out of your extended stay!
