Vietnam is making it easier for citizens of Argentina to visit and do business in the Southeast Asian nation by extending the validity of visitor e-visas for them from one month to three months. The amended law, which will take effect on August 15, 2023, was approved by the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA), the legislative body responsible for creating laws.
Currently, the Vietnam Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security issues single-entry e-visas to foreigners through its electronic system, and the country is granting e-visas to citizens from 80 countries, including Argentina. Under the amendments, Vietnam would extend the validity of e-visas granted to foreigners entering the country to 90 days from no more than 30 days for single entry or multiple entries.
The extended e-visa validity period for Argentine citizens is expected to provide more convenience and flexibility to visitors. It also opens up more trade and investment opportunities for Argentina and Vietnam. The 90-day e-visa is valid for tourism, business, and family visits.
Argentine citizens who wish to apply for a Vietnam e-visa must meet the following requirements: have a valid passport from Argentina, submit an online visa application form, and pay the applicable visa fee.
The 90-day e-visa validity period will enable citizens of Argentina to explore and take advantage of the many opportunities that Vietnam has to offer. This amendment will also promote mutual understanding and strengthen the ties between Argentina and Vietnam.
So, if you are an Argentine citizen planning to visit Vietnam, you can now apply for a 90-day e-visa starting August 15, 2023. All you need to do is meet the requirements and submit an online visa application form.
