5 great water sports to venture in Vietnam

Water sports are the games played on or in water. They are thrilling, depending on what excites you as a participant. Travelers to Vietnam have an array of water sports to choose from, to add on the various activities that you can do while you are in Vietnam. Water sports are increasingly becoming very popular especially in the coastal towns of Vietnam. Some sports entail diving into the water while some involve sailing against the waves and some being propelled up on the high tides of the sea. Below are some of the water sports that you can engage in a while in Vietnam.

1. Scuba diving

 

As a participant, you will dive into water using an independent breathing apparatus. This apparatus will help you be able to breathe under the water. Before engaging in this, sport, it is essential that you have the right gear as this is your life support system under water. Humans have no way of breathing underwater except if they have the proper apparatus on. 2. Kite surfing

Kite surfing is a  cool surface water sport that combines all the other elements of surface water sports. The participant uses a standard surfboard that has no bindings on it. Surfers are more thrilled to ride high waves of water than they are excited at riding the air. Vietnam is just the right place for this as the weather is right and warm and the winds are in support of the sport. The coastline is fantastic for competitions as it is long enough for the thrill and task. Kite surfing predominantly experienced in Mui Ne, Danang and Nha Trang.

3. Kayaking and canoeing

Kayaking and canoeing use the same principle of operation, only that in kayaking you use the kayak to peddle and move across the water body. 4. Snorkeling

Snorkeling is the act of swimming underwater wearing a mask and a device that allows the swimmer to swim underwater for a long time. The tool that the swimmer wears will enable them to breathe from the tubes that are usually above water and so they can be there for a longer time. Snorkeling sports identifies in Nha Trang, Phu Quoc Islands, and Hanoi. Visitors can get to enjoy their various activities and retire to multiple events in the evening.

5. Flyboarding

Flyboarding involves standing on the flyboard and being propelled into the air by a long hose connected to a watercraft. The water pushed under pressure to the rider’s boots which shoot him up in the air to perform the hydro flying sport. In Vietnam, the hydro flying sport is in Halong Bay and Nha Trang.
