Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports, official passports/special passports. The agreement was signed on October 23, 2010, effective from July 22, 2011.

Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

Citizens of one Contracting Party, holding valid diplomatic of official/special passports, shall be exempted from visa requirements for the entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party for the maximum period of ninety (90) days.

Article 2

Citizens of one Contracting Party, holding valid diplomatic or official/special passports, being members of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts or representatives to the international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, must get visa before entry into the territory of the other Contracting Party as members of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts or representatives to the international organizations.

Article 3

Citizens of either Contracting Party, mentioned in Articles 1 and 2 of this Agreement, may enter, leave and transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party at all border crossing points open to international passenger traffic.
