In order to enter Vietnam, Belgian citizens must have a Vietnam visa. Thankfully, Belgian nationals are among those foreigners who are eligible for the Vietnam e-Visa. This visa was offered by the Vietnam Immigration Department last February 2017 to citizens of 80 countries and that includes Belgium.
The Vietnam e-Visa is a single-entry visa that will allow a Belgian national to stay in the country for 30 days. Of course, there’s an option to extend if you want to, but the extension request must be made while you’re in Vietnam. There are agencies in Vietnam that can sponsor tourists who wanted to stay beyond the 30-day period. But if you’re in the country for a holiday, one month should be more than enough to admire its unique beauty.
