Da Nang International Airport (DAD) Mandates PAI
Effective June 15, 2026, all foreign passengers entering Da Nang must complete the Electronic Arrival Card. Digitization is here to reduce your wait time by 30+ minutes.
Nationwide Digital Rollout
Da Nang is the 4th major airport to adopt the PAI system. Within just two months, Vietnam has digitized entry across all major travel hubs. This data-driven approach allows the Immigration Department to pre-screen arrivals, ensuring a smoother flow for you.

Frequent Questions
Is the Electronic Arrival Card (PAI) the same as a visa? ▼
No. The PAI is an independent entry declaration tool. You must apply for your E-visa first, receive the approval number, and then fill out the PAI.
Does it cost anything? ▼
The PAI system is 100% free. Any website asking for payment for the QR code is a scam. Always use the official .gov.vn portal.
What if I make a mistake in my info? ▼
Major details like name and passport number cannot be updated. If you find an error, simply fill out a new form. The immigration officer will use the most recent QR code you provide.
