Chinese Passport Special Protocol
Due to the “Nine-Dash Line” passport design, Chinese citizens receive a Loose-Leaf Visa (separate paper) instead of a passport stamp. Strict compliance is mandatory.
⚠️ The Paper Rule
You MUST print your E-visa or VOA letter. Digital copies are consistently rejected at Chinese airports (HGH, CAN, PVG).
⚠️ Photo Trap
Photos must have a pure white background. Glasses are prohibited. Errors here cause “Correction Needed” which is fatal during Tet.
Pre-Flight Checklist
- Printed E-visa/VOA Letter
- Checked Name Pinyin vs Passport
- Checked Passport Number Digit by Digit
- 2x Photos (White BG) if using VOA
