Citizens of the countries listed below are exempt from visas when entering Vietnam for a stay of up to 45 days, provided they meet the specified conditions:
- It is required to have a valid passport from the country of citizenship that is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry.
- Not in the case of not allowing entry.
Vietnam unilaterally exempts visas for citizens of the following countries: Russia, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Belarus, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
Note: British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders are not eligible for visa exemption under this regulation.
Officials and employees of the ASEAN Secretariat Board are exempt from Vietnam visas with a temporary residence period of no more than 30 days, regardless of what passport they hold.
The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Card (ABTC) is designed to simplify the process of short-term business travel within the APEC region. The card allows applicants to apply for permission to enter participating APEC economies only once, and the information provided is used for multiple purposes.
Successful applicants from fully participating economies are granted a five-year card that serves as an entry authority to other fully participating economies that have granted pre-clearance for stays of up to 60 or 90 days.
Additionally, the ABTC enables holders to expedite the immigration process at each economy’s major international airports. Please note that Canada and the United States of America (the United States) are transitional members of the ABTC scheme and do not offer reciprocal entry arrangements, but do provide fast-track immigration processing at major international airports.

A visa exemption certificate is an official document issued to Overseas Vietnamese or foreign individuals who are either spouses or children of Vietnamese citizens or Overseas Vietnamese. This document enables them to enter and exit Vietnam without a Vietnamese visa for the purpose of visiting relatives or handling personal matters.
Individuals who enter Vietnam with a visa exemption certificate are permitted to stay in the country temporarily for a maximum of 6 months per entry (if the visa exemption period is less than 6 months, they can remain until it expires). They are also eligible for an extension of up to 6 months if there is a valid reason for it.
The validity of a visa exemption certificate is 05 years, which is shorter than that of a passport by 06 months.

Vietnam exempts flight crew members from 18 countries/territories from visa requirements based on reciprocity.

Notes on Visa Exemption for Flight Crew Members:
- When entering Vietnam, flight crew members of airlines are required to present a national passport that is valid for at least six months, along with a valid flight crew member card. Additionally, they must have a written confirmation from the airline that clearly states their duties as flight crew members on airline flights.
- Vietnam proposes visa exemption for flight crew members of Myanmar airlines from March 1, 2010 if Myanmar applies visa exemption regulations for flight crew members of Vietnam Airlines (Currently Myanmar does not have flights to Vietnam) but has not received confirmation from Myanmar.
- Vietnam proposes visa exemption for flight crew members holding third-country nationality of Singapore Airlines if Singapore applies similar regulations to Vietnamese airlines but has not yet received confirmation from Singapore.
The Government of Vietnam, under Resolution No. 80/NQ-CP, has identified Phu Quoc Economic Zone in Kien Giang Province as a coastal economic zone. The zone allows foreigners to enter and stay for up to 30 days without needing a visa.
Foreigners arriving at an international border gate of Vietnam, including by air and sea, who stay in the transit area and then transfer to Phu Quoc island are exempt from visa requirements.

According to the Agreement between Vietnam and Afghanistan for visa and passport exemption (signed Dec. 28, 1987, effective Feb. 26, 1988) saying:
1. Citizens of each Contracting Party who hold either one of the two following national passports will be exempt from visas of the Other
- For the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: Diplomatic passport and Service passport
- For the Republic of Afghanistan: Diplomatic Passport and Service Passport.
2. For citizens of each Contracting Party who hold other kinds of national passports to enter, exit, and transit the territory of the Other, the appropriate visas will be required.
It means that:
- Afghan citizens who hold diplomatic and official passports can stay in Vietnam for up to 30 days without a visa.)
- Afghan citizens who hold ordinary passports must apply for visas.

On September 29, 1956, both sides agreed to exchange notes, which became effective on October 1, 1956. The notes related to visa exemption for individuals holding diplomatic and official passports and collective passports on official duty. As per current regulations, Albanian citizens who hold diplomatic passports and official passports are allowed to stay in Vietnam for 30 days without a visa.

According to the Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Algeria on visa exemption for citizens holding diplomatic and official passports. Signed on June 30, 1994, and effective from January 2, 1995.
- Holders of diplomatic passports and official passports are exempted from visa requirements for a temporary stay of up to 90 days. If they wish to extend their stay beyond 90 days, they must follow the appropriate procedures to apply for a temporary residence visa or register their residence according to the regulations of the host country.
- Members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, and their household members are granted temporary residence visas or free registration. The visa period is valid until their term of work ends.
- Visas for ordinary passports will be issued free of charge.

An agreement signed on September 14, 1999, between the Governments of Vietnam and Argentina exempts visa requirements for diplomatic and official passport holders, effective from November 13, 1999.

- Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, and international organizations, along with their family members holding diplomatic or official passports, are exempted from visa requirements for a temporary stay of 60 days. However, during this period, they must complete all the necessary procedures at the competent authority of the receiving country. It’s important to note that this exemption does not apply to private service staff.

On September 9, 2010, the Governments of Vietnam and Azerbaijan signed an agreement exempting citizens holding diplomatic or official passports from visa requirements. The agreement became effective on August 21, 2010.
- Individuals holding valid diplomatic or official passports (service passports for Azerbaijan) from Vietnam or Azerbaijan, as well as their minor family members whose names are recorded in their passports, can enter the country without a visa. The exemption allows for a stay period of up to 01 month.
- Individuals holding valid diplomatic or official passports who have entered the territory of a foreign country as members of diplomatic missions, consulates, or international organizations, along with their accompanying family members, are required to complete the registration procedures at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country.
8. Bangladesh 🇧🇩

On May 11, 1999, Vietnam and Bangladesh signed an agreement on visa exemption, which came into effect on July 10, 1999.
- Vietnamese citizens holding diplomatic passports or official passports and Bangladeshi citizens holding diplomatic passports or passports with the “official” stamp are exempted from visa requirements. They are allowed to stay in the country for a maximum period of 90 days. The temporary residence period can be extended upon request by the diplomatic missions and consulates.
- Diplomatic mission members, consulates, international organizations, and their spouses and children under the age of 18 holding diplomatic passports or official passports (or the name of the child recorded in the parent’s passport) are exempt from visa requirements for a temporary stay of 90 days. However, the entry procedure must be notified in advance through diplomatic channels. Within the 90-day period, these individuals must complete the necessary residence procedures according to the regulations of the host country.
- Children who are under 18 years old and are members of diplomatic missions or consulates holding ordinary passports are entitled to visa exemption, just like their parents. However, it is important to note that they must have a confirmation note from either the representative agency, diplomatic missions, consular offices, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of their home country.
9. Belarus 🇧🇾

In compliance with current regulations, citizens of Belarus with ordinary passports are permitted to stay in Vietnam for up to 45 days without a visa.

On August 26, 2019, an agreement was signed between the Governments of Vietnam and Botswana to exempt visa requirements for diplomatic or official passport holders. The agreement came into effect on October 25, 2019.
- Citizens of Vietnam or Botswana who hold valid diplomatic or official passports can enter and stay in each other’s country for up to 90 days without a visa, starting from the day of their arrival.
- Citizens of Vietnam or Botswana who hold valid diplomatic or official passports and are members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, or representatives at international organizations, along with their family members who also hold valid diplomatic or official passports, are exempted from obtaining visas for entering, exiting, and temporarily residing in the other country’s territory during their official working term.

For official passports: Agreement on visa exemption for holders of official passports between the Governments of Vietnam and Brazil (Signed on 24 November 2008, effective 8 July 2009):
- Official passport holders are exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 90 days from the entry date.

- Diplomatic missions, consular offices, or permanent delegations to international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party and their family members (spouses, husbands, single children under 18 years old, adult children permanently incapacitated, single children under 25 years old studying at an educational institution of the receiving country) who hold diplomatic passports or official passports must obtain an entry visa before their first entry.

Agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports between Vietnam and Cambodia (signed November 30, 1979, effective immediately)
- Holders of diplomatic passports, official passports, and diplomatic or official travel documents are exempted from obtaining a visa for entry into Vietnam. There is no specific period of visa exemption mentioned. However, Cambodian citizens holding diplomatic or official passports are allowed to stay for up to 30 days without a visa in Vietnam, as per the current regulations.
An agreement was signed on November 4, 2008 between the Governments of Vietnam and Cambodia. This agreement was effective from December 5, 2008, and allows for visa exemption for ordinary passport holders. In December 2009, the governments exchanged notes to amend the agreement, increasing the visa exemption period from 14 to 30 days. This change came into effect from January 1, 2010.
- Holders of ordinary passports that are valid for at least 6 months are allowed to stay in the country for up to 30 days without a visa.

- Visa exemption is granted to holders of diplomatic and official passports for a maximum of 90 days. Diplomatic missions or consulates can request a 90-day extension of the temporary residence period.
- Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, international organizations and their family members holding diplomatic or official passports (children’s names included) are exempt from visa requirements throughout their working term.
On October 17, 2016, the Governments of Vietnam and Chile signed an agreement exempting ordinary passport holders from visas. The agreement came into effect on August 11, 2017.
- Citizens holding ordinary passports from both countries are exempt from obtaining a visa for a maximum period of 90 days from the date of entry. The passport should be valid for at least six months. However, this exemption from visa applies only if the purpose of the entry is not for income-generating activities.
- Citizens holding ordinary passports from two countries must obtain permission from the receiving country’s competent authority if they plan to stay for more than 90 days, in accordance with the country’s laws and internal regulations.

An agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of China on visa exemption for citizens of the two countries was signed on February 14, 1992, effective from February 15 March 1992.

- Diplomatic passport holders, official passport holders, and ordinary passport holders traveling on official business, along with their spouses and underage children sharing one of the above-mentioned passports, are exempted from entry visas for a period of 90 days.
- Family members (spouses, children, fathers, and mothers) of officials and administrative-technical staff of diplomatic missions and consulates of the two countries are exempted from visa fees when visiting relatives who are officials or employees of their country’s representative agency in the other country.

- Individuals who are members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, or representatives of their country at international organizations and hold valid diplomatic, special, or service passports are not required to obtain visas. Within 90 days from their date of entry, they will be granted a visa or residence permit valid for the entire duration of their working term upon request of their diplomatic missions, consulates, or international organizations. This regulation also applies to the spouses and children of the aforementioned individuals who hold diplomatic, special, or service passports, including cases where the children’s names are recorded in the parent’s passports.

Agreement between Vietnam and France regarding visa exemption for short stays on a reciprocal basis for diplomatic passport holders. Signed on October 6, 2004, and effective from July 1, 2005.
- Diplomatic passport holders are eligible for visa exemption, provided that they stay for no more than 03 months within 06 months from the date of their first entry. If entering the provinces of France after transiting through the territory of one or more member countries of the Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement dated June 19, 1990, the 03-month residence period will be calculated from the date of entry of the external border which serves to define the space of free movement established between these countries.
- Members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, and representatives at international organizations of one party located in the territory of the other party must apply for an appropriate entry visa.
Vietnamese authorities have granted French citizens a visa exemption for 45 days, allowing them to enter Vietnam without the need to obtain a visa in advance.
List of French National Overseas passports
Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and the French Southern and Antarctic Territories.
Foreigners holding French National Overseas passports are not exempted from visa requirements and, thus, must have appropriate visas to enter Vietnam.

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Hellenic Republic on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders. Signed on July 2, 2018, effective January 2, 2019:
- Greek nationals holding valid Greek diplomatic passports, who are not appointed to the diplomatic mission or consular posts of the Hellenic Republic in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam or who are not representatives of the Hellenic Republic to international organizations having their seat in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, shall be exempt from the visa requirement to enter, transit through, stay in and leave the territory of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam for up to ninety (90) days (in one or several periods) in any hundred and eighty (180) days period, beginning on the day of arrival.
- (1) This Agreement does not exempt nationals of either Party, holders of valid diplomatic passports who are appointed to the diplomatic mission or consular posts of that Party to the territory of the other Party or are representatives of that Party to international organizations having their seat in the territory of the other Party from the requirement to obtain a visa for accreditation by the receiving State prior to their arrival at its territory.
- (2) This Agreement does not exempt the family members of the persons mentioned in paragraph 1, who form part of their household and are holders of valid diplomatic passports, from the requirement to obtain a visa by the receiving State prior to their arrival at its territory.
- The receiving State shall issue the visas mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2 in accordance with its national legislation.

- (1) Citizens of either Party, who are holders of valid ordinary passports, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into, exit from (and transit through) the territory of the other Party at certain points of entry designated for international travel.
- (2) The passport holders referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of 03 (thirty) days, and not extendable.
- The duration of passport validity of citizens of either Party shall be at least 6 (six) months before entering the territory of the other Party.

According to the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Iran on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of official or service passports, signed on October 6, 2016, effective from July 21, 2017:
- (1) Citizens of both Parties, holding valid official or service passports, shall be exempted from visa requirements for the entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party for the maximum period of ninety (90) days.
- Either Party may extend, in accordance with its laws and regulations, the duration of stay for the persons referred to paragraph (1) of this Article upon requests in writing of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts of the other Party whose citizens the passport holders are.
- (2) Citizens of both Parties, holding valid official or service passports, assigned to permanent Diplomatic, Consular Mission or international organization offices located in the territory of the other Party, including their family members holding valid official or service passports shall be exempted from visa requirements for the entry into, exit from and stay in the territory of the other Party during their assignments, provided that their assignment is notified to the other Party officially thirty (30) days before their arrival in the receiving Party.
- Citizens of both Parties holding valid official or service passport entering the other Party’s territory for the purpose of journalism shall be subject to receive appropriate visa before their entry into the other Party’s territory.
- Excluding the citizens mentioned in the paragraph (2) of this Article, citizens of both Party, holding valid official or service passport entering the other Party’s territory for the purpose of remunerated activities, for which a work, permit is required under the national legislation of the receiving Party, shall be subject to apply for appropriate visa before their entry into the other Party’s territory.

- Nationals of either Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic passports, shall be exempted from the obligation to obtain a visa for the purpose of entering the territory of the other Party for a visit or a stay not exceeding ninety (90) days from the date of entry.
- Nationals of either country, holders of valid diplomatic passports, who intend to stay in the territory of the other Party for a period exceeding ninety (90) days, are required to obtain visas in advance.
- Nationals of either country, holders of valid diplomatic passports, exercising official functions ni the territory of the other Party as members of a diplomatic or consular staff, who are residing in the territory of the other Party and members of their families forming part of their household are required to obtain a visa and/or to complete necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the other Party within thirty (30) days from their date of entry.
41. Italy 🇮🇹

According to the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Italy on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders. The agreement signed on July 13, 2010, effective from January 20, 2012:
- (1) Citizens of the Contracting Parties, holders of valid diplomatic passports, and not accredited in the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall be exempt from visa requirement to enter, transit through, stay on and leave the territory of the receiving State up to ninety (90) days (in one or several periods) within six (6) months, since the day of arrival in the territory of the host State. For citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the period of ninety (90) days mentioned above shall begin from the date of first entry in Schengen Area.
- (2) This Agreement does not exempt the members of diplomatic mission, consular posts as well as representatives of international organizations, located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, as wel their family members holding valid diplomatic passports, from the visa obligation for their accreditation before the host State. The above mentioned persons, after the accreditation, may enter, transit through, stay on and leave the territory of the host State without visa during the period of their assignment.
- Citizens of the Contracting Parties, holders of diplomatic passports mentioned ni Articles (1) and (2) of this Agreement, may enter or leave the territory of the other Contracting Party at all border crossing points open to international passengers’ traffic.
Note : Vietnamese authorities unilaterally have granted Italian citizens a visa exemption for 45 days, allowing them to enter Vietnam without the need to obtain a visa in advance.
42. Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire) 🇨🇮

According to the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Ivory Coast on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. The agreement signed on April 18, 2017, effective on June 18, 2017:
Article 1
- Citizens of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, who are holders of valid diplomatic or official passport, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from, and transit through the territory of the Republic of Côte D’Ivoire. Citizens of the Republic of Côte D’Ivoire, who are holders of valid diplomatic or service passport, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
- The persons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of 90 days. Upon the request in writing of the diplomatic mission or consular post of the Party whose citizens the passport holders are, the other Party may extend the permit of residence for those persons.
- The persons mentioned in the paragraph 1 of this Article may enter into, exit from and transit through the state territory of the other Party at any border checkpoints designated for international travel.
Article 2
- Citizens of the one Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or consular post of their country accredited to the territory of the other Party, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into and exit from the territory of the other Party during the whole period of their assignment, provided that they are holders of diplomatic and official or service passports. They shall also be permitted to stay there during this period. Citizens of one Party who are the representatives of his/her country in the international organizations located in the territory of the other Party and hold the said passports shall also enjoy the rights mentioned above.
- The same privileges shall also apply to the spouse and children of persons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that they are holders of diplomatic and official or service passports or the children’s names are entered in their father’s or mother’s passport.

According to the Note exchanged between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan on visa exemption for citizens holding diplomatic passports and official passports. Exchange of notes on March 8, 2005, effective from May 1, 2005:
- (1) Japanese citizens holding valid diplomatic or official passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, seeking entry into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the purpose of exercising diplomatic or consular functions, or official duties of the Government of Japan and members of their families forming part of their respective households, having diplomatic or official passports, may enter the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam without obtaining a visa irrespective of the duration of stay in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
- (2) Japanese citizens holding valid diplomatic or official passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, seeking into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the purpose other than those in the paragraph (1), and with the intention of staying for a period not exceeding ninety (90) consecutive days, may enter the Socialist Republic of Vietnam without obtaining a visa.
Note: Authorities in Vietnam have unilaterally granted Japanese citizens a 45-day visa exemption, allowing them to enter the country without a visa beforehand.

The governments of Kazakhstan and Vietnam have recently approved an agreement that exempts citizens of both countries from visa requirements. The agreement was issued on June 13, 2023, and came into immediate effect. Under the agreement, citizens of both countries can travel to each other’s countries without a visa for up to 30 days.
The agreement states that citizens possessing a valid national passport of either country, with a minimum validity of six months, will not require a visa to enter, exit, transit or temporarily stay in the territory of the other country. The duration of this stay should not exceed 30 days from the date of entry. Additionally, citizens can remain in the other country for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period. Any stay beyond this period would require a visa.

- From August 5, 2018, the 1966 Agreement on visa exemption for ordinary passport holders on official duties between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of North Korea officially terminated (diplomatic passports and official passports are still exempted from visas according to the agreement between the Governments of the two countries).

If diplomatic missions and consulates request it, this period can be extended. However, if they want to stay beyond 90 days, they must apply for a visa in advance. The visa will be granted free of charge.
- Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, international organizations, and their family members holding diplomatic or official passports are exempt from visa requirements during their working term.
Note: Vietnam has recently granted a unilateral 45-day visa exemption to citizens of the Republic of Korea for their entry into the country, thereby facilitating easier travel between the two nations.

Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party, holding valid diplomatic or official passport, being members of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts or of the representatives of the international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, as well as their spouse and underage children holding valid diplomatic or official passports, shall be exempted from visa requirements for the entry into, exit from and stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party during their assignments, provided that notice of the other Contracting Party before thirty (30) days of arrival.
Article 3
- Citizens of either Contracting Party, mentioned in Articles 1 and 2 of this Agreement, may enter into, exit from, and transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party at all border crossing points open to the international passenger traffic.

- Citizens of the one Contracting Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or consular post of their country accredited to the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into and exit from the territory of the other Contracting Party during the whole period of their assignment, provided that they are holders of diplomatic or official passports. They shall also be permited ot stay there during this period. Citizens of one Contracting Party who are the representatives of his/her country in the international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party and hold the said passports shall also enjoy the rights mentioned above.
- The same privileges shall also apply to the spouse and children of persons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that they are holders of diplomatic or official passports or the children’s names are entered in their father’s or mother’s passport.

The persons mentioned in Article 1 shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of three (03) months within any six (06) months period from the date of first entry.
Article 3
1. Holders of valid diplomatic or service/official passports of the one Party, who are accredited as members of the diplomatic mission, consular posts or representative missions to the international organizations located in the territory of the other Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party for the period of their assignments in accordance with the internal procedures of the other Party.
2. The visa exemption granted to persons referred to in Paragraph 1 of this Article shall also apply to their spouse and children provided that they are holders of valid diplomatic or service/official passports.
This provision shall not apply to support staff in the household.

According to the exchange of notes between the Embassy of Vietnam and the Embassy of Malaysia about the Agreement concerning the partial abolition of visa requirement for diplomatic, official and ordinary passport holders on the basis of the following provisions, effective from November 25, 2001:
ARTICLE 1
Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, a citizen of either Contracting Party holding a valid passport, issued by the competent authority of their state, shall not be required to obtain a visa in order to enter the territory of the other Contracting Party for the purposes and period of stay as specified in the Appendix to this Agreement. The Contracting Parties may add to the items specified in the Appendix from time to time as may be mutually agreed upon, which shall be effected through the exchange of Diplomatic Notes.
ARTICLE 2
This Agreement shall not exempt the holders of the said passports from the observance of the laws and regulations in force regarding the entry, stay, and departure from the territory of the respective Contracting Parties.
ARTICLE 3
A citizen of either Contracting Party, who is assigned as a member of the diplomatic and consular staff in the territory of the other Contracting Party and in possession of a valid diplomatic and/or official passport including his/her spouse and children if they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports, shall not be required to obtain visa to enter and stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for the period of his/her official mission. The names of such person and his/her spouse and children shall be notified to the competent authorities of the respective Contracting Parties fourteen (14) days prior to their entry.

- Citizens of one Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or consular post of the sending country accredited to the other Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into and exit from the territory of the host Party during the whole period of their assignment, provided that they are holders of diplomatic passports as indicated in Article 1 hereof. Citizens of one Party representing the sending country in the international organizations located in the territory of the host Party and who hold said passports shall enjoy the same privileges.
- The same privileges shall also apply to the spouses and children of the persons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that they are holders of diplomatic passports as indicated in Article 1 hereof or the children’s names are included in their parent’s passports.

- The same privileges shall be applicable to family members of the personnel referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article if they are holders of diplomatic or official passports or if the name of their sons is inscribed in their mother’s or father’s passport.

- The passport holders referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, who intend to stay more than 90 (ninety) days in the territory of the other Contracting Party, are required to obtain visas in advance.
- The visas mentioned in paragraph 2 of this Article shall be issued on mutual gratis basis.
Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or consular post of his or her country accredited in, or representatives of his or her country to the international organization located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, holding valid diplomatic or official passports, shall be exempt from visa requirement for entry into and exit from the latter’s territory, as well as be permitted to stay there during the period of their assignment.
- The same privileges shall also be applied to the spouse and children of the persons mentioned in paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that they are holders of diplomatic or official passports or the children’s names are entered in their father’s or mother’s passport.
Note: An agreement was signed on November 2, 2023, between Mongolia and Vietnam, which exempts holders of diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports from visa requirements. - Moroccan citizens, holders of valid diplomatic passports, service passports or special passports, shall be exempt from visa requirements for the entry into, exit from, transit through and be permitted to stay in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for a maximum period of ninety (90) days.
- Upon requests in writing of the diplomatic mission or consular posts of the Contracting Party whose citizens are holders of the passport referred to in paragraph 1 and paragragh 2 of this Article, the other Contracting Party may extend the duration of stay for those passport holders.
Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party, holders of valid passports specified in Article 1 of this Agreement, who are members of the diplomatic mission or consular post or representatives to the international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into and be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for a maximum period of ninety (90) days. During this time, those people should complete the necessary procedure of stay permission from the competent authorities of the host country.
- The provision referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall also be applied to members of the above people’s family, including spouses and children, provided that they are holders of passports specified in Article 1 of this Agreement.

Citizens of either Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or a consular post in the territory of the other Party, as well as members of their families, holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports, shall not be required to obtain a visa for entry into, exit from and stay in the territory of the other Party during the period of their assignments.
2. Within ninety (90) days from the date of entry, the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article should complete necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the host country.
Article 3
Citizens of either Party holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports shall enter and exit the territory of the other Party through border gates designated for international travelers.

In 2013, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar signed the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports (hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement”), which came into effect from October 26″, 2013.
With desire to facilitate and promote bilateral cooperation and friendly exchanges between citizens of Viet Nam and Myanmar, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam kindly proposes the extension of visa-exempted stay for holders of ordinary passports of the two countries from 14 days to 30 days, provided that such stay shall not engage in employment or other commercial activities, by amending Article 2 of the Agreement as follows:
“1. Citizens of either Contracting Party exempted from entry and transit visa requirements under Article 1 of this Agreement shall be entitled to stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for no more than thirty (30) days from the date of entry, provided that such stay shall not engage in employment or other commercial activities. In case of casual obstacles, an extension of stay may be requested in written form from the competent authorities of the latter Contracting Party by the diplomatic or consular post of the former Contracting Party.
2. Citizens of either Contracting Party intending to enter the territory of the other Party for a stay exceeding thirty (30) days or engaging in employment or other commercial activities will require visas issued by the competent offices of that Contracting Party.”

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of Nepal on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic or official passports. The agreement was signed on May 11, 2019, effective June 25, 2019.
Article 1
Vietnamese nationals holding valid Vietnamese diplomatic or official passports shall be permitted to enter and stay in Nepal for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days without the necessity of obtaining a visa, provided that they shall not take up any employment, be it self-employed or otherwise, in Nepal.
Article 2
Nepali nationals holding valid Nepali diplomatic or official passports shall be permitted to enter and stay in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days without necessity of obtaining a visa, provided that they shall not take up any employment, be it self-employed or otherwise, ni Viet Nam.
Article 3
1. A citizen of Viet Nam or Nepal, who is a member of the diplomatic mission or consular post of his/her country accredited to the other Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into, exit from and stay in the territory of the other Party during the whole period of his/her assignment, provided that he/she is a holder of valid diplomatic or official passport as indicated in Article 1and Article 2 of this Agreement. A citizen of Viet Nam or Nepal representing his/her country in the international organizations located in the territory of the other country and holding a valid diplomatic or official passport shall enjoy the same privileges.
2. The above privileges shall also apply to the dependent family members of the persons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports as indicated in Article 1 and Article 2 of this Agreement.
3. Within ninety (90) days from the date of entry, the persons referred to in paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of this Article should complete necessary procedures for registration of stay with the competent authority of the host

ARTICLE 1: WAIVER OF VISA REQUIREMENTS
Nationals of a Party who are holders of a valid Diplomatic or Official Passport may enter into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party and shall be permited to stay in the territory of the Party for a maximum period of ninety (90) days from the date of entry without having to obtain a visa.
ARTICLE 2: COMPETENT AUTHORITY
The competent authority responsible for the implementation of the Agreement shall be:
1. For the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security and;
2. For the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nigerian Immigration Service of the Ministry of Interior.
ARTICLE 3: ACCREDITED DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR STAFF
1. Nationals of a Party who are holders of valid Diplomatic or Official Passports and accredited members of the staff of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts in the country of the other Party, may freely enter, sojourn and exit the other Party during the time of appointment at the Diplomat Mission or Consular Post.
2. Spouses and children under 18 years of age of the persons referred to in paragraph (1) of this Article shall also be exempted from having to obtain a visa if they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports.

ARTICLE 1
The provisions of this Agreement apply to the holders of any of the following passports:
(a) Valid diplomatic and official passports of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
(b) Valid diplomatic, special, and service passports of the Sultanate of Oman
ARTICLE 2
1. Either Party shall allow nationals of the other Party, holders of any of the passports referred to in Article 1, to enter into, stay in, transit through, and exit from the territory of the other Party without a visa for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of each entry.
2. Nationals of either Party, referred to in the preceding paragraph, who wish to extend their stay for a period longer than ninety (90) days in the territory of the other Party, shall go through the necessary procedures for a visa request from the competent authorities of the other Party prior to the expiration of the ninety (90) days period.
ARTICLE 3
The passports referred to in Article 1, belonging to nationals of either Party, shall be valid for a period of at least six (6) months on entry into the territory of the other Party.
ARTICLE 4
1. Nationals of either Party, holders of any of the passports referred to in Article 1, shall not undertake any paid activity that requires a work permit during their stay in the territory of the other Party.
2. Nationals of either Party, holders of any of the passports referred to in Article 1 who seek employment, gainful activities, study, or any other paid activities, shall obtain an appropriate visa prior to their arrival to the territory of the other Party in accordance with the laws and regulations of the receiving Party.
ARTICLE 5
Nationals of either Party, holders of any of the passports mentioned in Article,1 shall enter into, transit through, and exit from the territory of the other Party through the border-crossing points open to international traffic without any restriction, except for entry restrictions relating to security, customs, immigration, public health and public order, or any other provisions legally applicable to the holders of these passports.

- Holders of diplomatic passports or official passports who are members of diplomatic missions, consulates, or representative offices of international organizations and their family members (spouses and children under 18 years old) holding diplomatic passports or official passports are exempted from visa requirements during their working term. However, they must register their residence within 90 days from the date of entry.

Citizens of one Party holding valid ordinary passports with a minimum validity of six (6) months, may enter into, exit from, transit through and stay in the territory of the country of the other Party without visa for a maximum period of up to ninety (90) days, under the condition that the purpose of the visit is not-for-profit activities.
ARTICLE 2
The citizens of either Party, traveling to the other Party, with the intention of staying in such territory beyond the maximum period provided for in Article 1 of this Agreement, must request the competent authorities of the latter Party to issue appropriate visa in accordance with its internal laws.

Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party, holding valid diplomatic or official passports, being members of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts or representatives to the international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into and exit from the territory of the other Contracting Party during the period of their assignments.
- The visa exemption granted to the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall also apply to members of their families, including spouses and children, provided that they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports.

- Upon request in writing from the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Post of one Contracting Party with regard to its citizens who are holders of the passports referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, the other Contracting Party may extend the duration of stay for these persons.
Article 2
- Citizens of either Contracting Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic, official or special passports and are assigned as members of the Diplomatic Mission, a Consular Post or an International Organization in the territory of the other Contracting Party, as well as their family members holding the said passports, shall not be required to obtain visas for entry into, stay in and exit from the territory of the other Contracting Party for the duration of their assignment.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the receiving country should be informed of the status of the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article in a verbal note before their entry. Within ninety (90) days from the date of entry, these people should complete necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the other Contracting Party.
71. Philippines 🇵🇭

Signed on December 17, 1998, effective from February 16, 1999.
Have agreed on the following with respect to holders of official and ordinary passports;
Article 1
Citizens of one Party, who are holders of valid official passports, shall be exempt from visa requirement for entry into, exit from and transit through the Ierritory of the other Party at the border-checking points designated for international travel.
The citizens referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of 30 days. Upon the request in writing of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Post of the Party whose citizens are holders of such passports, the other Party may extend the temporary stay of those citizens.
Article 2
Citizens of one Party and members of their families holding valid official passports, accredited to work in the Diplomatic Mission, Consular Post or International Organizations located in the other Party, shall be permitted to enter this country without visa and allowed to stay for a maximum of 30 days, during which time they should obtain the necessary authorization from the competent authorities of the receiving Party.
Note:
Exchange of visa exemption notes for ordinary passports according to the principle of reciprocity; Effective for Vietnamese citizens from January 1, 2000, for Philippine citizens from April 1, 2000:
Travelers with ordinary passports are exempt from visas for a temporary stay of up to 21 days, provided that their passport remains valid for at least 6 months and they hold a round-trip air ticket or onward ticket to another country.

- Citizens of one Contracting Party holding diplomatic passports shall have the right to stay in the territory of the Contracting Party for a period of up to 90 (ninety) days during a period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days from the date of their first entry.
Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party holding valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that Contracting Party who are assigned to work in a diplomatic mission, consular office or international organization having its seat in the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall have the right to enter the territory of the other Contracting Party and to remain there
during the term of their assignment without the need to apply for a visa. - This right shall apply to the spouses and children of such persons, respectfully, provided that they are members of one household and hold diplomatic passports.
- The persons mentioned in Article 2.1 above will be notified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of one Contracting Party to the diplomatic mission of the other Contracting Party prior to being assigned.

Article (1)
The passports referred to in this Agreement are the following:
- In the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam: valid diplomatic and official passports.
- In the State of Qatar: valid diplomatic and special passports.
Article (2)
Nationals of the two Parties holding the passports specified in Article (1) in this Agreement may enter into, exit from, transit through or stay in the territory of the other Party without visa for a maximum period of (90) ninety days from the date of entry.
Article (3)
Nationals of the two Parties, holding the passports specified in Article (1) in this Agreement, being the members of diplomatic missions, consular post or permanent mission to international organizations accredited in the territory of the other Party; in addition to the members of their families who live with them and hold the passports specified in Article (1) in this Agreement, may enter into, exit from, or stay in the territory of the other Party without visa during the term of their assignments, provided that they finalize accreditation formalities in force in the territories of the other Party within (90) ninety days from the date of entry.
Article (4)
Holders of the passports specified in Article (1) in this Agreement may enter into, exit from and transit through the State territory of the other Party at any border checkpoints designated for international travel.

The Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation outlines the travel conditions for citizens of the two countries. This agreement was signed on October 28, 1993, and became effective on February 20, 1994. Additionally, there is a Note that amends and supplements the Agreement, which became effective on January 2, 2005.
- Diplomatic passport and official passport holders are exempted from visas for a temporary residence period of up to 90 days. This period can be extended for a maximum of 90 days in case of a legitimate reason or an official request.
- Diplomats, consular officials, and officers of international organizations and agencies who are stationed in each other’s territories under agreements between two governments, as well as their family members who hold diplomatic or official passports, are exempt from visa requirements for the duration of their working term.
- Seafarers who hold seafarers’ passports and work on ships of one party are permitted to enter the territory of the other party without a visa. They can leave their ships and stay temporarily in the territory of the other party. However, if they travel by other means of transport through the territory of the other party, they will only be exempted from visas if their seafarer’s passport clearly states the purpose of their trip and destination. Citizens of the Russian Federation can stay in Vietnam without a visa for up to 30 days if they hold Seafarers’ passports that allow them to do so in accordance with current regulations.
- Flight crew members and citizens of both parties are exempt from visas for stays up to 30 days.
- Diplomatic missions, consular offices, and authorized agencies of one Party shall issue visas to citizens of the other Party without collecting consular fees.
- Visitors who are invited by members of diplomatic missions and consulates can obtain a visa free of charge within 3 working days. The invitation letter must be confirmed by the relevant representative agency. The visa is valid for multiple entries and exits, and it expires after 3 months.
Note
The government of Vietnam has recently declared that citizens of Russia are no longer required to have a visa for entry into Vietnam. This new regulation means that Russian passport holders can now travel to Vietnam without the need to obtain a visa in advance, for stays of up to 45 days.

The holders of valid diplomatic or official passports of a Party may enter into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party and shall be permitted to stay in the territory of that Party for a maximum period of ninety (90) days from the date of entry without having to obtain a visa.
ARTICLE 2
1. Nationals of each Party holding valid diplomatic or official passports, who are accredited members of the staff of the Diplomatic Missions, Consular Posts or the representatives to international organizations in the territory of the other Party, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party for the period of their assignments.
2. The provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article shall also be applied to the members of their families, holding valid diplomatic or official passports.
ARTICLE 3
The holders of valid diplomatic or official passports of a Party may enter into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party through the points of entry designated for international traffic.

HEREBY AGREE as follows:
Article 1: WAIVER OF VISA REQUIREMENTS
The holder of a valid diplomatic or official passport of a Party may enter into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Party and shall be permitted to stay in the territory of that Party for a maximum period of ninety (90) days from the date of entry without having to obtain a visa.
Article 2: COMPETENT AUTHORITIES
The Competent Authorities responsible for the implementation of this Agreement shall be:
( a ) in respect of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security;
(b) in respect of the Government of the Republic of South Africa, the Department of Home Affairs.
Article 3: ACCREDITED DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR STAFF
(1) The holders of valid diplomatic or official passports, who are accredited members of the staff of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Posts in the country of the receiving Party, may freely enter, sojourn, and exit the said country during the time of their appointment at that Diplomatic Mission or Consular Post.
(2) The family members of persons contemplated in sub-Article (1) shall also be exempt from having to obtain a visa if they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports.
Article 4: ENTRY INTO AND EXIT FROM TERRITORIES OF PARTIES
The holders of valid diplomatic or official passports of the country of one Party shall enter the territory of the other Party through the points of entry designated for international traffic.

Article 2
Nationals of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, bearing a current Vietnamese diplomatic passport, may enter the territory of Spain without a visa for stays of up to 90 days (three months) during a period of 180 days (six months), on condition that they do not engage in gainful employment during their stay, except that carried out for the purposes of accreditation.
When they enter the territory of the Kingdom of Spain, after transit through the territory of one or more of the States to which the provisions are fully applicable concerning the abolition of internal border controls and of restrictions on the movement of persons, as set out in the Convention Implementing the Schengen Agreement, dated 19th June 1990, the three months shall become effective as of the date of crossing the external border limiting the free movement area formed by the aforesaid States.
Note:
The government of Vietnam has recently announced that Spanish citizens can now enter Vietnam without a visa for stays of up to 45 days. This means that Spanish passport holders no longer need to obtain a visa in advance to travel to Vietnam.

Article 2
- Citizens of one Contracting Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports and are members of the Diplomatic Mission or Consular Post located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into and exit from the territory of the other Contracting Party and shall be permitted to stay there during the period of their assignment.
The sane privileges shall also apply to citizens of one Contracting Party, who are representatives of their country to international organizations located in the territory of the other Contracting Party, if they are holders of the above-mentioned passports. - The same privileges shall also apply to spouses and children of the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, if they are holders of diplomatic or official passports or if children’s names are entered in their father’s or mother’s passport.

ARTICLE 1

3. For the implementation of the first paragraph of this Article, notification by the international organizations concerning the appointments of citizens of the Contracting Parties shall be considered sufficient.
ARTICLE 4
1. Citizens of each Contracting Party mentioned in the Article 1 may enter, exit, transit the territory of the other Contracting Party using the border crossings designated for international passenger traffic.
2. While crossing the State borders, citizens of each Contracting Party mentioned in Article 1 are obligated to comply with the laws and regulations of the other Contracting Party.

The sending country needs to notify the host country in advance of the rank and duties of the above-mentioned persons through diplomatic channels.

ii) The provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article shall also be applied to the members of their families, holding valid diplomatic, service/ official and ordinary passports.

i) Nationals of each Contracting Party may enter into, exit from and transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party using border gates designated for international passenger traffic.

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. The agreement was signed on November 19, 2007, effective from June 15, 2008.
Have agreed on the following:
Article 1
Holders of valid Vietnamese diplomatic and official passports, members of the diplomatic mission, consular post of Vietnam, or representatives to the international organisations located in Uruguay shall be exempt from the respective visa requirement to enter and stay in Uruguayan territory during the term of their respective missions.
Article 2
Holders of valid Uruguayan diplomatic and official passports,
members of the diplomatic mission, consular post of Uruguay, or representatives to the international organisations located in Vietnam shall be exempt from the respective visa requirement to enter and stay in Vietnamese territory during the term of their respective missions.
Article 3
The provisions referred to in Articles 1 and 2 of this Agreement shall be also applied to members of the family who live with the persons mentioned in Articles 1 and 2 of this Agreement, provided that they are holders of valid diplomatic or official passports.
Article 4
Holders of valid Vietnamese diplomatic and official passports, not accredited in Uruguay, shall be exempt from the visa requirement to enter Uruguayan territory and stay therein during a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, which term may be extended by the Uruguayan Authorities, according to the legal provisions in force.
Article 5
Holders of valid Uruguayan diplomatic and official passports, not accredited in Vietnam, shall be exempt from the visa requirement to enter Vietnamese territory and stay therein during a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, which term may be extended by the Vietnamese Authorities, according to the legal provisions in force.
94. Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

- Aircrew member: Starting from January 20, 2004, Vietnam exempts visas for Uzbekistan Airways’ flight crew members.
Agreement Between The Government Of The Socialist Republic Of Vietnam And The Government Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan On Visa Free-Trips Of The Citizens Holding Diplomatic Passports. The agreement was signed on April 5, 2010, effective June 4, 2010.
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The citizens of the states of the Parties holding valid diplomatic passports, may enter, exit from or transit through the territory of the other state of the Party without visa for a period not exceeding 60 (sixty) days from the date of the entry.
Article 2
The citizens of the state of one of the Parties holding valid diplomatic passports, who intend to stay within the territory of the other Party more than 60 (sixty) days, shall get necessary visas beforehand.
Article 3
1. The citizens of the states of the Parties holding valid diplomatic passports and carry out official functions as officials at the diplomatic or consular missions may enter, exit and stay without visa for the period of their assignment.
2. The rights set out in paragraph 1 of this Article shall also apply to the citizens of the states of the Parties representing either of the Party at international organization with headquarters located in the territory of the other state of the Parties or carrying out functions at such international organizations and holding valid diplomatic passports.
3. Members of the families (husband/wife and under-age children), living with above mentioned persons for the whole period of their assignment, shall also enjoy the rights set out in paragraph 1 of this Article if they are holding valid diplomatic passports.
Article 4
The citizens of the states of the Parties stated in articles 1 and 3 of this-Agreement, shall enter, exit from and transit through the territory of the state of the other Party, through check-points open to the international passenger traffic. They are obliged to accomplish relevant formalities provided by competent authorities of the states of the other Party.

Agreement Between The Government Of The Socialist Republic Of Vietnam And The Government Of The Bolivarian Republic Of Venezuela On Visa Exemption For Holders Of Diplomatic, Official Or Service Passports. The agreement was signed on May 24, 2006, effective from November 17, 2006.
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
Nationals of either of the Parties, bearers of Vietnamese diplomatic, official passports or Venezuelan diplomatic, service passports, may enter, transit, remain or leave the territory of the other Party, without the necessity of acquiring a visa, for a period not more than ninety (90) days. After the expiry of the period of ninety (90) days of stay, an appropriate visa shall be required in order to remain in the territory of the other Party.
Article 2
Nationals of either of the Parties, bearers of Vietnamese diplomatic, official passports or Venezuelan diplomatic, service passports, designated to lend his service in the Diplomatic Mission, Consular Post or International Organization with headquarters located in the territory of the other Party, may enter, transit, remain or leave the territory of the other Party during the period of their assignments, without acquiring a visa.
The facility granted in this Article to the above-mentioned persons is extended to the members of their families, including their spouses, children and parents as long as they are holders of one of the categories of passports covered by this Agreement, for the period of their assignments.

Have agreed as follows:
ARTICLE 1: HOLDERS OF F PASSPORTS
1.1. Nationals of either Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic, officials or service passports shall be exempted from the visa requirements to enter, depart, transit or stay in the other Party’s territory, provided that such stay does not exceed ninety (90) days from the date of their entry.
1.2. Holders of diplomatic, officials or service passports of either Party who are accredited to carry out duties in its respective diplomatic or consular posts and permanent representation to international organization in the other Party’s territory, shall enter and stay in the territory of the other Party without visa for the period mentioned in paragraph 1.1.
13.. The provisions of paragraph 1.2 of this Article shall also be applied to spouses and children of those persons referred to in Paragraph 1.2 of this Article provided that such members are also holders of diplomatic, official or service passports.
1.4. Within ninety (90) days from the date of entry, the persons referred to in Paragraphs 1.2 and 1.3 of this Article, shall complete the necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the host country.
4. Uganda 🇺🇬

- Individuals who are citizens of either party and are members of their country’s diplomatic missions, consulates, or representatives at international organizations located in the territory of the other party, and hold diplomatic or official passports, must apply for a visa prior to entering the other party’s territory.
