Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Mozambique

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Mozambique on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official/service passports. The agreement was signed on April 4, 2008, effective on February 9, 2009.

Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

Citizens of either Party holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports shall not be required to obtain a visa for entry into, exit from, and stay in the territory of the other Party for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days.

Article 2

1. Citizens of either Party, who are members of the diplomatic mission or a consular post in the territory of the other Party, as well as members of their families, holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports, shall not be required to obtain a visa for entry into, exit from and stay in the territory of the other Party during the period of their assignments.

2. Within ninety (90) days from the date of entry, the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article should complete necessary procedures for registration of stay at the competent authorities of the host country.

Article 3

Citizens of either Party holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports shall enter and exit the territory of the other Party through border gates designated for international travelers.
