According to the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. Signed on February 28, 2003, effective from May 23, 2003:
- Visa exemption is granted for temporary residence of up to 90 days for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
- Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, international organizations, and their family members holding diplomatic or official passports are exempted from entry visas. However, upon entering the country, they must register their stay in compliance with the laws of the receiving country.
