What is a tourist visa?
A tourist visa (visa DL) is a visa that grants foreigners access to Vietnam for tourism, sightseeing, leisure, etc. DL visa, valid for no more than 03 months. Such visas can be extended for another month or three months after expiration. Because of its simple procedures and documents, this is a popular visa type.
Procedures for foreigners to apply for tourist visas:
To apply for a DL visa for foreigners, you must first apply for an entry visa.
The components of the application letter include:
- Foreigners’ passports were valid for at least 6 months.
- Application form for foreigners’ entry letter: form Na2 (institutions and organizations).
- Foreigner entry guarantee application form: form na3 (personal guarantee).
Place of application:
- Vietnamese Immigration Bureau.
- Exit entry administration division of provincial and Municipal Public Security Bureau.
- Working time: 03 to 05 working days from the date of receipt of valid documents.
After getting the entry letter, you can go to the place you want to go and apply for a visa, such as an airport, embassy, or consulate.
