Applying for the Vietnam Landing Visa in Phu Quoc Island is easy. It’s the same as applying for a standard Vietnam visa where you need to fill out a form. But with the landing visa, the application form that you need to fill out is online. Here’s how you go about this.
Go online and look for an agency that can process the landing visa on your behalf. Click on the option to apply for the visa on arrival. Fill out the form with your personal details. Make sure the spelling is correct. Otherwise, your application could be denied. So review everything before you submit the form.
After you submit the form, wait for 1 – 3 business days for a reply. If your visa application is approved, they will attach a pre-approval letter to your email. They will also include an entry and exit form that you need to print and fill out in advance. Make sure you have these things ready before you fly to Phu Quoc Island.
When you arrive at Phu Quoc International Airport, go directly to the landing visa counter. Then submit all your requirements. Aside from the letter and the form, you need to submit passport-sized photos. You are also required to pay $25 in cash for the stamping fee of your visa.
When they have your visa already, they will call you back to the counter. The immigration officer will stamp your passport with the visa sticker so you can now proceed to Passport Control for entry.
