Common Questions About the Vietnam e-Visa For Moldovan Citizens

The Vietnam e-visa is a new concept to Moldovan citizens. So if you’re one of those who have a lot of questions about this type of visa, then check these out:

Can I extend the validity of the e-visa?

The Vietnam e-visa will only allow you to stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days.  Yes, it is possible to extend the visa validity but you’ll have to do it while you’re in Vietnam and you need to look for an agency that can sponsor your stay in the country. But if you knew ahead of time that you’re going to stay in Vietnam for more than 30 days, it might be best to apply for the Visa on Arrival instead.

When will my e-visa be Valid?

The validity of your e-visa will be stated on the visa itself and this is based on the dates you have specified in your visa application. You can only use the visa within those dates stated. If your travel plans have changed and you need to enter Vietnam earlier than the date specified, you have to apply for a new visa again.

Do I have to queue at the visa counter upon arrival at the airport?

One of the benefits of using the e-visa is that you no longer need to queue at the airport for picking up the  visa as you arrive, this is only for those visitors who have opted for the Visa on Arrival. But for e-visa holders, you can proceed directly to passport control and give your passport and e-visa to the Immigration officer.
