What’s great about the Vietnam e-visa is that it will not require you to submit a lot of requirements or paperwork. And unlike the Visa on Arrival, you don’t need to queue at the airport when you arrive. There are a few requirements that you need to prepare when applying for the e-visa. Here they are:
- Passport – just like with applying for any type of visa, you are required to present a passport during the application. Since the application is done online, then you need to have a scanned copy of the biographical page of your passport and this is what you need to upload. Sample for passport’s bio page.
- Valid email address – you will receive confirmation through your email once your e-visa is approved. Therefore, you need to have a valid email address when applying for the e-visa.
- Photos – you will be asked to submit passport-sized photos during your application. These should be in digital copy since you need to upload them online. The photo must display your face clearly and should have a white background. Photo Guide.
- Card for payment – there’s a processing fee that you need to pay online for your e-visa application. So you need to prepare a credit card or debit card for the payment. See Vietnam visa fees update.
