The processing of Vietnam e-visa is 3 business days and the processing time begins as soon as the Vietnam e-visa application is submitted online. If the submitted form contains any errors or inaccuracies, the process takes longer than expected to complete.

The applicants will receive their e-visa by e-mail in PDF format. Vietnam visa on arrival is yet another simplest procedure that is used to obtain Vietnam visa. This procedure is simple that requires you to fill in an online application form, paying a service fee, and submitting the application form. After the submission of the form, the application will get processed. You will receive the visa approval letter within two days. You must download a copy of visa approval letter and visa application and present them to the immigration department on your arrival at the destination airport. They will validate the information and stamp the Vietnam visa to your passport. To do that, you must pay a stamping fee which is $25 for single entry visa and $50 for multiple entries visa.
The requirements of Vietnam visa on arrival is almost similar to that of Vietnam e-visa. You will require a passport with at least six months validity and two blank pages, a passport size photo, and more. But the visa on arrival requires applicant stop at the airport to pick up the visa and pay for an additional fee called stamp fee : 25$ for single entry & 50$ for multiple entry.
With Vietnam visa on arrival, you can request for 3-month or 6-month visa while e-visa is valid for 30 days with a single entry. If you are planning for a temporary stay and you don’t have to leave Vietnam in between the stay of 30 days, choose e-visa.
