Here’s why traveling to Vietnam with kids is recommended:

It’s an easy country to travel in

Southeast Asia in general is easy to travel around in, but Vietnam especially is great. The locals love children and adore them, so most people will most likely treat you differently if you’re traveling in Vietnam with kids. It may sound odd, but you’ll just be met with a different attitude.

There’s a lot of variety of activities

Whether you and your family loves beaches, hiking, surfing, playing by the pool, visiting museums, etc, you can find it here. The best activities are outdoors though, which is great if you want to be more active on your vacation. Either way, you and your family won’t be bored in Vietnam, but if you do want some down time, you have many options. Why not treat yourselves to a spa day? Go for a beach massage? Or why not just lounge by the pool while the kids play?

There’s food from every corner of the world

This can be very important when traveling to new countries with kids. Perhaps your children don’t like the local food for whatever reason. Then you’re going to have a whole different problem on your plate. Luckily, Vietnam has become somewhat of an international hub and you can find food from every corner of the world here. So if you and your family gets tired of eating Vietnamese food, you can always find other cuisines such as Italian, American, Korean, Japanese, and much more.

Visa on Arrival or E-Visa, two online visas that you can apply for safely from your home. The E-Visa is only eligible for 80 countries in the world though, so double check first if you belong to that list. If not, the Visa on Arrival is an excellent choice. The third choice is to go to the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate and apply with them. This is a good option if you intend to cross to Vietnam by land. You must book an appointment with them first and then from there proceed with the visa application. This may take a bit longer than the online visa, therefore, the online visa is highly recommended.
