At Tan Son Nhat airport, you don’t need to take any transportation to move between domestic and international terminal. The distance is just about 300 meters, you can walk. It takes about 5-10 minutes for walking between two terminals.
If you just arrive Tan Son Nhat airport from an international flight, and you want continue to take a domestic flight to other cities in Vietnam, you need to do the immigration check, and then go outside, follow the sign board and come to domestic terminal.
If you just arrive from a domestic flight, and you need to go to international terminal for your international flight, you also do the same, follow the sign board and walk to international terminal.
If you are in the city center, you can take a bike, car or bus to go to the airport:
- If you use the bus, it will send you to both international terminal and domestic terminal. So you just ask the driver to get off the bus at the terminal you want.
- If you use motorbike, the driver will drop you at the domestic terminal (motorbike cannot come to international terminal). So you need to walk to the international terminal if your flight is international flight.
- If you use the car, the driver can drop you off both international and domestic terminal which depends on your need.
