Vietnam is one of the best destinations to go to if you want to combine culture, party and sightseeing. It’s almost impossible to not find a good hostel in the big tourist cities and towns in Vietnam. 1. Central Backpackers Hostel – Old Quarter

This lovely hostel in Hanoi has both a great location and is very social. Whether you’re traveling solo or just want to meet with other like minded people, you should check out this hostel. This hostel is another branch of the Central Backpackers Hostel chain. What makes this one stand out is their rooftop bar, where they throw regular parties. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and they’ll make sure that you’ll have a good time in the capital city of Vietnam. You also get free breakfast, free WiFi and free walking tours everyday.

2. Hanoi Rocks Hostel

If you’re looking for some crazy parties, look no further than Hanoi Rocks Hostel. Famous for being one of the biggest party hostels in Hanoi, this is not the place to check in to if you need a good night sleep. The hostel has its own bar and they offer guests free beer from 6pm to 10pm. On the ground floor, there’s a late night club as well, so people who are not guests can come and party too. It’s an affordable hostel and you get a lot for what you pay. Just don’t expect a silent moment when night falls.

3. iHome Nha Trang

Want to combine beach with parties? Then you must go to iHome Nha Trang! It’s a lively hostel with plenty of backpackers who are looking to have fun in the popular beach town Nha Trang. In the town, there’s usually lots of things going on as well so the hostel is a great place to start your night off with your new friends.

4. Halong Party Hostel

As the name says, it’s a party hostel in beautiful Halong Bay. It’s just a 5 minutes walk to the Halong Beach and is conveniently located in the city centre. There’s plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars and nightlife going on there as well. The hostel offers travelers a fun, friendly and cool vibe and the staff will make sure you’ll get an unforgettable time in Halong Bay. Go explore the beautiful bay during the day, or why not book a cruise for a few nights, then come back to relax with a beer (probably more if you stay here.).

5. Easy Tiger

When you think of Phong Nha, you probably don’t think of parties. But this gorgeous national park has quickly become a favorite amongst backpackers and you’ll be surprised by how much it has developed. The town of Phong Nha may be little but there’s plenty of things to do. One of the biggest and most popular hostels in Phong Nha is Easy Tiger. You have a bar here with regular DJ sets and live music, therefore, people from other hostels also tend to end up at Easy Tiger. When the bar closes, you can always go to one of the clubs nearby and dance the night away.

6. Mui Ne Hills Backpackers

This hostel is located just 300 meters off the main road and just a very short walk to the beach in Mui Ne. Relax on the white sand beaches, try kitesurfing and go for a swim before you go back to the hostel. Because most people who check in here tend to stay at the hostel. The reason? Because it has everything! You have a big pool, free ping pong table, beer pong and flip cup competitions every day, free billiard tables and just a lively atmosphere which makes you not want to leave the hostel. If you’re hungry, the hostel also has a restaurant which serves both Asian and Western food. The best thing? It’s also one of the cheapest hostels in Vietnam and costs a little more than 2 USD for a room in a dorm. Sounds pretty epic, right?

7. Flipside Hostel Saigon

This Kiwi owned hostel has been operating for over 14 years and is one of the most successful hostels in Vietnam’s biggest city, Ho Chi Minh City. You can chill at the bar, swim in the rooftop pool, party (of course) and join the pub crawls which they arrange almost every day. Ho Chi Minh City is slightly chaotic, but in the best sense, and you’ll find that the same goes for the parties. You won’t be bored here, that’s for sure.
