Are you daydreaming of going to a place where you will be guaranteed to have good weather, where you can lay on white sand beaches, check in to a luxurious resort for an affordable price and enjoy some of the most delicious cuisine? Then Vietnam is the perfect choice for your next vacation! Not only is it one of Asia’s most beautiful destinations, it’s also incredibly diverse, so you will have lots to do and see here. Head down south to the island of Phu Quoc in order to relax on the beach with a cocktail in your hand. If this isn’t your cup of tea or you prefer to be in cities, then head over to Ho Chi Minh City. The nightlife here is bustling, there are an abundance of restaurants and cafés to spend your time in and you will feel overwhelmed by the amount of people there are in this city. But rest assured – you will still love it.
For the nature lovers, you have the beautiful rice terraces up north in Vietnam in Sapa. You can also get a unique opportunity to meet the Hmong people, Vietnam’s ethnic minority, who lives in those areas. After a few days in Sapa, cruise around on an overnight boat in Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which offers views that will leave you speechless.
As you can see, there are many things to do in Vietnam and you won’t regret choosing this as your vacation spot. But before you head over to Asia, you will have to apply for a visa in order to enter Vietnam. The process isn’t complicated though, and you will have your visa stamped and approved in no time! There are three options for you:
1. Electronic visa or Vietnam e-visa for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina
From 01 Feb 2019, under Decision 17/2019/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are eligible to apply online for an e-visa of Vietnam online (e-visa is a single entry valid for staying 30 days).
Bosnia and Herzegovina passport holders, who want to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days for a single trip, can apply online for an e-visa directly at the government website https://evisa.immigration.gov.vn(please note that the fee is non-refundable if you apply your e-visa at the government website).
If you want to secure your e-visa with refundable policy (100% satisfied or get back your money) you can apply your e-visa through our easy form application (filling your entry date, entry and exit port of arrival then submit your passport copy online) then we will take care the rest of procedure to get your e-visa on time as promise.
Note : if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one month or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month, please choose options below :
2. Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Apply online for pre-approval then pick up your visa on arrival at the airport of Vietnam
This option is preferred by many foreigners who comes to Vietnam. It is easy to apply to, convenient, quick and it saves you time. You can also apply for the VOA from anywhere in the world – whether you live in Bosnia and Herzegovina or you’re based somewhere else, you just need your computer and internet. If you apply for this visa, you are allowed to enter Vietnam through any of the following international airports: Da Nang Int’l Airport in Da Nang city, Cam Ranh Int’l Airport in Khanh Hoa province (Nha Trang city), Tan Son Nhat Int’l Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Noi Bai Int’l Airport in Hanoi city, Lien Khuong Int’l Airport in Lam Dong Province (Dalat city) and Cat Bi Int’l Airport in Hai Phong city. You can only travel by air if you get a VOA, meaning you can’t enter Vietnam by bus, car, et cetera.
The process of “visa on arrival” is easy. You only need to fill out the online application form where you state your date of birth, and other information. Then you wait for a confirmation letter that will come in around 1-2 working hours. Normally you will receive a visa approval letter within 2 working days. When the letter comes, don’t forget to print it out so the immigration officers in Vietnam can stamp your passport. If by chance you need to get an emergency visa, it will cost you more money, but you will be able to get it faster. It will take from 30 minutes to 4 hours.
Also, you now have the option to buy “On Arrival Support”, which is a very good option for those who wants to check in to Vietnam faster:
- Standard Support : +US$20/pp
Our staff will meet you in front of the “visa on arrival” desk with a welcome board, then take care all procedures necessary to get the visa stamped on your passport. Please prepare 25 USD/pers and give it to our staff to pay for visa stamp fee.
- VIP Support : +US$35/pp
Our staff will meet you in front of the “visa on arrival” desk with a welcome board, receive your passport and give it back with the visa in 5-10 minutes, then escort you to check out via the VIP gate. Please prepare 25 USD/pers and give it to our staff to pay for visa stamp fee.
3. Get your visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in the nearby countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The second option is to apply for a visa in the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The reason why this option isn’t recommended is because it’s not as convenient if you don’t live close to the embassy or consulate. It means you will have to spend time on transportation and money. You will also need to remember to bring all the necessary documents, such as passport, and if you by any chance forget anything, you need to start all over again with the process. It is time consuming and you usually need to pick up your passport in the embassy. However, this is one of the choices that you can choose from, so if you happen to prefer this option, then it is good to know that it exists.
It is as simple as that! When all is done and paid for, you can start planning your trip down to Southeast Asia and enjoy the beautiful country of Vietnam.
